So, HTC is gearing to launch a 4G handset on January 6th, and now we have the mighty task of guessing its name. The handset so far has been allude to by the moniker 'HTC Incredible HD', but seems like the handset is striving to be unveiled before its official unveiling, thanks to the various controlled leaks. However, there is some educated speculation that the handset is actually named "Thuderbolt 4G".
Interestingly, the guess is based on an advert ran by the company under its "First to 4G, again" campaign. The URL of the advertisement read http://www.htc.com/4G?extcid=Thunderbolt-4G-Disp (emphasis added). However, if you follow the link, you will be welcome by a non-functional page. Anyways, the phone is likely to have Verizon as its chosen carrier partner and is expected to be introduced during the Consumer Electronics Show to be held in Las Vegas next month. The phone will feature a 4.3 inch screen with 3.5 mm headphone jack. It will also have a powerful 8 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash as well as a front facing camera. So, now we have one more reason to eagerly wait for CES.
