In an online survey of Facebook users, a company called ProtectYourBubble.com has concluded that most UK Facebookersdeemtheir Apple iPod to be their most important possession. However, the survey was not limited to merely electronic products. iPod beat stuff like cars and cats to reach the coveted position. In fact, it also surpassed 'wedding ring' by a huge margin, which received only 1% of the total votes.
iPod was listed as the "most valuable possession" by 12% the respondents, followed closely by BlackBerry, which received the endorsement from 11.5% of the respondents. Apple's iPhone turned out to be the most valuable possession for 10% of the respondents. Dogs turned out to be the iPods of non-tech world and received nods from 9% users. However, they too had to settle for a tie with Laptops.
Game Consoles garnered 8% votes. Among the other honorable mentions, Cats got 5% votes whereas Cars received 4%. And did I tell you, 'Wedding Rings' received overwhelming 1% votes. Ahem, seems like its time, people should start exchanging iPods instead of rings. So do you agree with the poll findings? What would you consider to be your "My Precious"?
