Up until now owning a Kindle, the cool eBook reader from Amazon, has been the privildge of our Amercian cousins. But no more. Amazon have announced that the Kindle will be available in over 100 countries worldwide and will include free 3G connectivity so you can download books from the Amazon Kindle Store on the go.
If you are an Orange customer and you want an iPhone, but you didn’t want to change to O2, then there is some good news today. Orange has announced that it has signed a deal with Apple to allow it to start selling the smartphone/iPod in the UK. In fact Orange have even setup a website so you can register your interest.
It was announced to the world in January, it went on sale in the USA in June, in July we heard it was coming to the UK “in time for the winter holidays” and now, finally, O2 have announced the launch date of the Palm Pre in the UK. From October 16th the Palm Pre can be had for free when you sign up to a two year contract at £34.26 per month.
