Rumour Mill: iTunes 9 to Support Blu-ray, Facebook and Twitter

The Internet has been awash this weekend with rumours about the next big version of iTunes from Apple. September is traditionally the month when Apple update their iPod range as they prepare for the Christmas season. It is rumoured that iTunes 9 will also be announced in September and include support for Blu-ray discs, integration with social networking sites like Facebook and introduce a new way to organize your iPhone apps.

Lenovo IdeaCentre C100 All-in-one; Touchscreen Windows 7 Version Coming Soon

Lenovo has quietly released the IdeaCentre C100 at the gdgt party in San Francisco. The IdeaCenter C100 is an all-in-one 20-inch unit with the potential for a touchscreen. The first version of this desktop machine will ship with Windows Vista, but the rumors are that when Windows 7 is released Lenovo will ship an updated version of the C100 with a specially optimized touch screen.

For example Asus recently launched the T91 touch screen netbook in their Eee PC range using custom software on top of Windows XP. But now Sony has spilled the beans about their intentions with Windows 7 and netbooks with touch screens.
