Shuttle Strips-down X50 to the Bones

Shuttle has released a “barebone” version of their all-in-one touch screen mini PC the X50. The dual-core processor Intel Atom powered X50 is a 15.6 inch all-in-one PC with touchscreen and carry handle. All this comes in shell that is only 36mm thick.

“Barebones” means that you decide for yourself which components should be installed in the All-in-One-PC. You need to buy a 2.5″ hard drive, add some memory, install them in the X50 and you are up and running.

Lenovo's New Slimmed Down, Beefed Up 14-inch Business Notebook

Lenovo has released details of its new 14 inch business laptop the ThinkPad T400. The T400 has a carbon fibre shell, making it quite thin (only 2.1 cm) and relatively light. At the same time the T400 is no performance slouch. The T400 comes with the Intel 2.53 GHz Core2Duo processor, 2GB of memory and a range of solid state drive storage up to 128 GB or if you prefer a 250 GB hard drive.
