iTunes 8.2 Released. Paves the way for iPhone OS 3.0

Apple has released an upgrade to their ubiquitous iTunes software which is used by iPod and iPhone owners to sync music, video, photos, contacts (and much more) between their PC or Mac and their iPod/iPhone.

As well as small bug fixes and the odd security update the main purpose of iTunes 8.2 is to add support for iPhones or iPod touches with the iPhone 3.0 Software. The iTunes update is a little under 80MB and shouldn’t be a problem for users with broadband.
