Vodafone 360 Samsung H1 Coming 30th October To The UK; Pre-Order Now

Vodafone recently revealed their plans for a new type of Internet service and revolution for mobile social networking called “Vodafone 360”. Now the promised first mobile phone which supports it, the Samsung H1, is available on pre-order with shipping expected by the end of October. Vodafone 360 brings together Facebook, Windows Live and Google giving you a single place to get the status updates of your friends.

The Original Samsung Omnia caused quite a stir when it was released last year, and quickly became one of the most popular Windows-powered mobiles on the market, doing well against the Sony Ericsson Xperia and HTC Diamond. Review: Samsung Pixon 12 M8910

Convergent technology sounded like a great idea when it first hit the scenes. No longer would you need a separate device to take holiday snaps, call your bro to gloat about being at the beach and pump out your tunes to the annoyance of sunbathers around you; you could theoretically do all of this on just one piece of kit. The trouble with this concept though, was that instead of a great camera, great phone and great MP3 player, you got mediocre versions of all three in your one device. Now Samsung have stepped up to the plate with its new Pixon 12, a mobile phone with a 12 megapixel camera included. So does it do everything as well as individual gadgets can? Let’s find out.
