Gift Guide: Top 3 Best Games Consoles for Christmas 2009

Ok, so it’s that time of year again. I worked as a Christmas temp in Gamestation a couple of years back, and my sole responsibility seemed to be convincing very confused mothers that they certainly did not want to buy an XBox instead of an XBox 360, or a PS2 instead of a PS3 (there was no way anyone was getting a Wii at the time – they’d been sold out since October). PC game delays getting on the collective tits

Last week I was frustrated and annoyed, and for once, it was not due to having to go to work, the wife, or even my pay packet. No, it was because I am a PC gamer. I don’t have a PS3, nor an Xbox 360. I have forgone these for an expensive graphics card and a Razer mouse. Sometimes I wish I had not though because If I had a PS3, I would now be playing Assassins Creed 2, the PC version of which has been pushed back until the first quarter of 2010.

PlayStation 3 Gets Facebook Integration

Sony has officially announced on the PS3 blog that the forthcoming V3.10 firmware upgrade for the PlayStation 3 will include support for Facebook.

The update which is scheduled to be released “soon” allows you to link your PlayStation Network account to your Facebook account and automatically update your Facebook status with Trophy and PlayStation Store activity.
