The constant problem with school has always been making sure students actually turn up to class. Uniforms were invented to try to curb this problem, by making sure kids were identifiable when they were somewhere they shouldn't be. However it wasn't long before the more strategic of pupils realised that all they had to do was ditch their jacket and tie to not get caught.
Well thanks to a new range of school uniforms with MP3 capabilities, students will be clamouring to get their uniform on in the morning so they can sit down to an all-rounded breakfast of corn flakes, orange juice and Kid Rock.
The new uniforms will be available from Marks and Spencer shops throughout the UK, and will include coats and blazers with five function keypad controllers sewn into the inside of lapels. This means that the owner won't need to risk exposing their iPod to the teacher just to skip a track.
Stealth is the key to design here as the iPod pocket is strategically placed so as not to bulge. The iPod connector has a hidden circuit and best of all, there are lapel loops to keep earphone wires under wraps.
The design of the MP3 compatible uniforms does seem to be geared towards students who are able to use them sneakily in class which means teachers will have another distraction problem to combat. Perhaps therefore, podcast lessons aren't going to be uncommon in the future. Well, there will have to be an educational spin on these new uniforms!
Marks and Spencers will retail the blazer at £25 to £30, and the winter coat at £35 to £40.

How will this technology be used in the future? What type of economic impact will this product make? What is the U.S. cost?
