We’ve come across reports online that indicate that the HD totin’ EeeBox PC B208 HD (catchy isn’t it) will be hitting the shelves of our fair isle in June of this year
If the report over at Engadget is to be believed you may be able to get your hands on the latest in Eee netbook goodness as early as June 09, well, as long as the pre-sales agent cited as the source wasn’t telling porkies.
Whenever the diminutive EeeBox HD does arrive it should come packing:
- Atom 330 dual-core processor
- 2GB RAM
- ATI Radeon HD 4530 graphics
- Wi-Fi support for b, g and draft-n networks
- HDMI-out video port
The nifty little HD-wünderbox will come with the choice of 160, 250, or 320GB hard drives and will also include a free 10GB of storage at the Eee online backup facility.
Price-wise we’re expecting it to be on the happy side of £500, which may sound steep but you do get a fair bit of bang for your buck….now all it needs is a better name…
