You may not think this post is mobile phone related from the title, but bear with us.
What’s the most creative use you’ve ever had for your phone? Prank called Dominoes? Submerge it in a glass of cola? Well here’s another idea- attach one to a puppy.
We’ve stumbled across a Sony Ericsson viral that’s performing what some may see to be a very important experiment.
By attaching a Sony Ericsson camera phone with “Smile Shutter” to the collar of a puppy, a couple of guys are trying to figure out which puppy is the best for picking up girls.
Why the Smile Shutter? Well it’s a pretty ingenious concept that will automatically take a photo of someone as soon as they smile. This means everyone suddenly becomes photogenic and gone is the fear of making a wonky face as your mate pushes the camera button.
You may be putting two and two together now- with the automatic Smile Shutter function activated on the phone on the puppy’s collar, the guys can, uh, scientifically calculate which breed of puppy generates the most genuine interest from women.
Will it work though? Check out the trailer below to see for yourself.

Ah yes- you can see the science can’t you? A couple of those ladies are very scientifically endowed I wouldn’t wonder :P
Gotta love cheeky viral videos like this.
The puppies are definately in on it!
A very scientific experiment. Made me chuckle too
Well I think it wouldn’t work for me because I not a massive fan of ‘man’s best friend’, so it would be more of a repellent for me! :-)
Yeah, as cute as puppies are I would have been more likely to come over if they were holding a chocolate bar with the camera phone attached!
I knew I shouldn’t have bought a cat!
I like the puppy very much and it a very scientific experiment. Made me chuckle too if they were holding a chocolate bar with the camera phone attached.
