USB Panic Button: Play Games at Work

[product#149] How often do you get so annoyed with work that you just have to go and surf the net to keep your sanity in tact? Well if you’re on this site now, chances are that you do this quite a bit.panic

There are risks involved in checking out facebook or the latest sports results while you’re on the clock though. Thankfully the USB Panic Button is an ingenious device that will let you surf and still save your job.

To use, just plug this gadget into a USB port and stick the button on the floor by your feet. As soon as a boss-like-figure starts hovering around your desk just kick the switch and a suitably work-orientated spreadsheet, or flow chart (there’s a selection of four you can choose from or you can create your own), will pop up onto your screen.

This is much more subtle than fumbling around with your mouse to switch between screens and even more discreet than shutting your laptop or yelling, “hey, what’s that over there!?”

The USB Panic Button is the perfect office gift idea or a gift for the breadwinner in the family to ensure they keep on bringing home the bacon.

The Panic Button comes with a Windows Driver CD to install the software but unfortunately for funky offices and Architects, it’s not Mac compatible.

Priced at £4.99 it’s a small investment to save your job.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
