I’ve been sat here trying to transcribe the noise from the Mario games. I got as far as ‘duh do do dodo duh do do’ and then scrapped the idea.
Why the Nintendo nostalgia? Well, I’ve found the cutest little gadget I’ve seen all week. It’s the Mushroom Desk Mini Vacuum Cleaner.
Available in red, green, purple or orange it’s a hand-held hoover for your home. It may even beat the Henry the Hoover mini vacuum cleaner in the coolness stakes- and I’m the girl who got all excited when she received a full sized Hetty for her 21st birthday, so this must be good.
It can be used on clothes and furnishings as well as being an easy way to get those annoying crumbs from out between your keyboard keys. And it couldn’t be easier to use.
It’s battery powered (requires 2 AA batteries), so no wires from plugs or your USB port. You simply flick the on switch and watch it suck up the mess. The bottom screws off for when you need to empty it.
Ok, so you might look a little (ok, a lot) fussy if you take a mini hoover into the office, but when it looks this cute, who actually cares?
I’m already planning on making a little plasticine Mario and Princess Peach so I can re-enact Mario 64 on my lunch break. I could do a whole cast, and spend my days making You Tube videos. Maybe get a whole host of Mushroom Desk Mini Vacuum Cleaners, and paint them so they look like the different power ups…
Although then I’d probably not get any work done.
It might be best to leave this little baby at home. That way you can eat toast in bed and not have to sleep under crumb filled covers.
