Another announcement prior to MWC next week - Sony Ericsson announced the launch of the W395 Walkman phone, earlier this week.
The W395 is a lightweight slider handset at 96grams with dimensions of 96x47x14.9mm. The 2inch (176×220 pixel) scratch-resistant TFT screen promises crystal clear quality. Available in 2 colours; Dusky Grey and Blush Titanium, the handset will be released some time during Q1.
It comes with USB and Bluetooth (A2DP) connectivity as well as internet access via GPRS and Edge through the Openwave web browser.
It has a 10mb on-board memory, with a Micro M2 card slot for expansion and a 1GB M2 card thrown in.
The battery will give you around 8 hours talk time, 480 hours standby time and just over 12 hours music listening time.
The W395's walkman player supports MP3 and AAC audio formats and features album art, equaliser, stereo widening, TrackID and PlayNow for a range of downloadable mobile entertainment.
The handset itself features a large, powerful built-in stereo speaker, providing high quality sound and a clear bass. Perfect for sharing your favourite songs with your mates!
