HTC introduce their latest handset, the S743, for the US market. It's the twin of the S740 for the European market and is a non-touch screen. Instead, this ultra slim, slider handset features a 12-key number pad as well as a full QWERTY keyboard.
It is HSDPA enabled, with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 so will come with all the usual features like Internet Explorer Mobile, Microsoft Office Mobile and the likes, synchronising with Microsoft Outlook and supporting web based email and instant messaging.
It's a slender and chic handset, with a 2.4inch QVGA screen and the same faceted design as the Touch Diamond.
It's said to be available later on this quarter from select US retailers.
