CES: Blackberry Curve 8900 – "Thinnest and Lightest to date"

On show at CES was the Blackberry Curve 8900, the thinnest and lightest full QWERTY BlackBerry to date. It will be available on the T-Mobile (USA) network.

At 13.5mm thick and weighing 109grams, the 8900 has a 2.4inch (480x360pixel) LCD screen with a 35key backlit QWERTY keyboard and trackball.

The battery will give you 5.5 hours talk time and 15 days standby time. It has GPS, A-GPS and comes pre-loaded with Blackberry Maps. It has Bluetooth 2.0 and EDR with A2DP.

It comes with WiFi and high speed web browsing supporting Yahoo, Windows Live and AOL email, with Facebook and MySpace apps and instant messaging capabilities.

It features a media player for music tracks and video. And a 3.2megapixel camera with auto focus, flash, 2x digital zoom, image stabilization and video recording.
