PlayStation vs Nintendo Wii vs Xbox 360 for Christmas

Seems like everyone one is in on it now? First it seemed as if the PS2 had that new "sensor" technology, with the I-play. But later came the Wii and we all know how that ended? Okay the Wii was a rush last year for Christmas, and it seems as if it is not going to live up to its reputation for another year. Simply because, we all know the Wii is a novelty console, that comes out only when a few mates pop over or you've just met your girlfriends parents for the first time and need to break the ice - what's better, than making a fool in front of everyone?

But, will the Wii stay firmly on the top spot for the party console? Xbox has just released its contenders; Lips and Your in the Movies. Firstly, I would like to congratulate them on trying, but does it remind you of someone? Think were all forgetting that PS2 had sing star and as I mentioned earlier, the I-Toy. Game of copycat, But who will come out on top? Well not saying that I can predict the future, but with Xbox’s live new avatar, seems to me that there covering every aspect of the Wii's success, although the toffs at Microsoft are staying back a few inches from a law suit. I make that Xbox 1, Wii 1, and the PS3 Nil. Although I doubt that, the PlayStation boys are sitting around watching their pension fund deteriorate. Expect a retaliation, very soon!

  • I’ve been thinking about getting a Wii for a little while now, I just can’t afford it with all the Christmas expenses, right now. But, will the Wii stay firmly on the top spot for the party console? Xbox has just released its contenders; Lips and Your in the Movies. Hopefully

  • I agree the Wii is a real novelty console which has it good points and bad points. Good points being it kills for sales around christmas but then the bad point being it plays catch up for sales the rest of the year!

  • In my view, the Wii is targeted for more kids and less serious gamers, unlike the other two.
