The Motorola Hint was introduced on November 25th 2008 in Illinois, USA. This slider handset with a QWERTY keyboard and a 2.5inch widescreen QVGA (320×240, 65k) display is designed to make social interaction easy and enjoyable.
The handset offers conversation-like experience via threaded text messaging and instant messaging with optimised predictive text capabilities.
With immediate access to email and high-speed connectivity, the Motorola Hint offers an 'authentic web experience' claiming that consumers can surf the web with a 'pc-like experience', rapidly scrolling, zooming and bookmarking.
It also offers one-touch SMS access to weather, stock prices, sports information, maps and directions.
It boasts an intuitive dashboard interface with simple menu navigation and features one-touch music keys affording direct access to songs and playback functions on the integrated music player.
It supports MIDI, AAC, AAC+, WMA v9 audio formats. And features video playback and streaming, supporting MPEG4 and WMA v9 formats.
It also features a 2.0 megapixel camera with digital zoom and video recording capabilities, a high-speed USB 2.0 connection, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD slot with an 8GB card capacity and stereo Bluetooth class 1.5.
It weighs 120g with dimensions of 82 x 61.6 x 17 mm. Talk time is up to 4.5 hours, standby time is up to 15 days and it has 256MB ROM and 125MB RAM.

It will be available to US residents from November 28th on Alltell Wireless. No date (that I can see!) for a UK release as yet!
