Kirill: A New Online Drama

If Neighbours and Lost just isn’t doing it for you anymore, we’ve come across a new online drama that may get you slightly hooked.

MSN UK have come up with an interactive sci-fi thriller starring David Schofield from Gladiator and Pirates of the Caribbean. The plot may just get all you bloggers excited as finally we step into the limelight!

Three scientists have vanished, two bloggers are under siege and one man has an urgent message to deliver.
None of them are safe – and neither are you on Kirill.

The storyline is linked to MSN’s interactive tools, and features developed using development platform Silverlight. If you’re curious as to what’s going on in this story, you will need to download Silverlight to watch the drama unfold.

The idea is that viewers will take an active role in the show through leaving comments on blogs and instant messaging- a nice change from the one-way communication of broadcast TV.

  • They should introduce this on reality shows like BB…..but then again they might end up killing each other as I will introduce baseball bats and sleep deprivation…….on second thoughts.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
