ZTE Launches Light II Tablet in UK at £235

ZTE has announced the launch of its 7-inch Android tablet in UK. ZTE Light II tablet runs on Android platform and comes packed with 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor. And did we mention it runs Android Gingerbread version. So, if you are not impressed with these lukewarm specs, then you should know that the tablet would carry the price tag of £235, so it is the case of you get what you pay for.

Wu Sa, Director, Mobile Device Operation, ZTE said, "ZTE V9A is ZTE's first own-branded tablet made available in the UK and we are very excited about its entry into the market. We plan to continue our progress in the UK, introducing ZTE branded consumer devices with key capabilities at reasonable prices."

ZTE Light Tab II has 4 GB of onboard storage, but you can expand via microSD card. The tablet is quite portable at 402 grams. ZTE claims that its battery contains enough juice to give you up to 5.5 hours of video play capability. It also has dual camera, with 3MP camera on the rear and 0.3 MP camera on the front.

The tablet is already selling in countries like Indonesia, Hong Kong and Spain. It will enter UK markets this month. ZTE also said, "Our UK strategy is very much focused on providing quality devices - a factor which is apparent through our growth and development in the handset arena".
