Holiday season is here and it is time to pick up gifts for the near and dear ones. We all have our fair share for picky friends and relatives for whom nothing is ever good enough. However, a survey conducted by Sodahead suggests that Apple devices are the most desirable gifts this season. So, if you are unsure about some of your giftees, then just go ahead with iOS devices and chances are in your favor that they will love your gift.

The survey concludes that iPhone 4S and iPad 2 are the most desired gifts this season. 39 percent of the respondents chose iPhone 4S as their top gift, while 31 percent would love to get an iPad 2. Kindle Fire also appears on the list and 17 percent of the respondents would be happy getting no-frill tablet by Amazon. Similarly, 13 percent would like to augment their Kinect accessory collection for Microsoft's Xbox 360.

Video games have maintained their status as the most desired gift by kids. However, it is not only about gadgets. Like, everything else, even the gifts are getting more and more virtual. People are choosing to gift apps. In fact, 40 percent of the survey universe said that they would appreciate getting games or other apps as gifts.
