Would you Pay $5 per Month for BlackBerry Music Service

Lately, there had been rumors about RIM starting its own
music service and it seems like the rumors are actually true as some more
factoids about the new service have emerged. The new service will be integrated
with BB Messenger. RIM is likely to offer introductory free trial of the
service, but after this, the service will cost you $5 a month.

For availing this service, you will need to download an app
from the BlackBerry App World. Its integration with BBM will let you invite
your contacts and form your own music sharing network. Such network formation
will help you in overcoming one of the drawbacks of this service. BlackBerry
Music service will let you install  only
50 songs, at the max. However, with private networks, where each person is able
to install up to 50 songs, you will have access to a larger number of songs,
depending on the number of network members.

Initial reports by CrackBerry suggest that BlackBerry has
pretty decent catalogue and hence you will be able to have your pick. The
service is fashioned differently from Apple and Google music service. So, would
you be willing to give it a spin, once it arrives on the scene and would you be
willing to spend 5 bucks a month afterwards?

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
