Both the handsets are running on Android Ginger bread 2.3 and will have access to 150,000 apps when they hit the shops around Q3 or August in normal speak.

They still pack a smartphone punch as they sport an ergonomic slide out keyboard for a fast one-handed texting as well as a de facto touch screen.
You can expect to find a 5-mega pixel camera that is capable of shooting high definition at 720p - we had a quick go on the camera and it easily competes with Apple's latest handset and at a fraction of the cost.
That handsets are super-snappy compared to last year's effort with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
The phone allows for 16 apps to be pride of place on your homescreen and will also come with Facebook inside which is new way of integrating Facebook into the most popular aspects of the phone.
On board storage is handled through the medium of SD cards allowing you to create a solution that best fits your needs.
Both the Mini and Mini Pro will come with pre-loaded with Office suite and Mcafree letting users manage documents and emails instantly and securely while on the move.
Other notable feature and functions include, 4 different colours, DNLA certification, Micro USB support, Wisepilot sat nav, Bluetooth stero support, Track ID music recognition and on the Pro version it even comes with Skype.
Steve Walker, Head of Marketing, Sony Ericsson said, "We wanted to provide consumers even greater choice across the XperiaTM range, while building on the success of the original mini series. These turbo-charged smartphones now contain even more power, enhanced functionality, a larger screen and premium features unique to Sony Ericsson.
No prices or a definite release date were mentioned, by they did say Q3.
