White iPhone 4: Is It or Isn’t It Coming Out ? The Plot Thickens

It was reported last week that Apple had removed all evidence of the much-beleaguered White iPhone 4 from its web store - leading everyone to guess that Apple had given up on the White iPhone.

Well news has just come in from Bloomberg that is suggesting that it will be available to buy from the end of April. Confused? So are we.

Were not sure who to believe, why would Apple remove the only photo on its store when they are just about to finally release it?

Something is quite clearly not right. Bloomberg is citing “three people familiar with the plans” who say the white iPhone 4 will begin shipping in the next few weeks. The white iPhone will be available from both AT&T and Verizon, apparently. But were inclined not to believe anything any more.

Bloomberg’s sources echo what Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide product marketing Phil Schiller said earlier this year — that the white iPhone 4 was still coming, and it would be released sometime in the spring. Upon launch, it is assumed that the white iPhone 4 will ship in 16 GB and 32 GB versions like the black iPhone 4.

But this still doesn't explain why it had been remove from the store last week, until we finally here to from Apple, don't make any plans, as it could easily be another hollow promise.

We reckon if you have been holding out for the white version of the iPhone you should wait until the end of April and if there's still no sign, it might be time for you to give up on it and just buy the less pretty black one.

We’ll keep tabs on this for you, but to be honest, we have no idea anymore, the White iPhone has become a joke, and no-one is laughing, maybe we should just forget it or grab a some tippex (or white-out for friends across the pond) and make your own

Then you can go to the Apple store and show it off to the Apple people - showing them how easy it is to make something white. It's 2011 and the whole story is just embarrassing. 10 months after we were meant to get it were no closer to seeing it in shops.
