Arguably, iPad 2 is currently the most eagerly awaited device, but it does not mean that we do not have some other very drool
worthy products coming our way. This week saw some of these devices getting priced and dated for the UK markets. And if you did not had enough time during the week to take stock of the new arrivals, then just sit back and enjoy the luscious details about these cool devices.
LG Optimus 2X went through the usual rigmarole of speculated prices and release dates. However, now it is all set for March 21st unveiling via Expansys. The retailer had earlier announced 30th March as the release date. Expansys would be offering the phone for £449.95, while Carphone Warehouse has set its price at £454.95. However, if you are fine with contracts, then you can score the handset for free, albeit with a carrier contract.
If you are a Facebook fan, then you might want to check out INQ Cloud Touch, the phone with Facebook integration. Carphone Warehouse has started accepting pre-orders for the phone and the shipping date has been tentatively set on April 6th. The phone comes with a new Facebook app which provides one touch access to Friends, chats and Messages. You can score a SIM-free handset for £299.95, while with PAYG plan, it will cost only £199.95. The mid-range phone will cost £20 a month on contract. The phone runs on Android 2.2.
It's not just the mobile phones getting priced, but now you can also look forward to HTC Flyer tablet landing on the store shelves. 7-inch Android tablet is expected to hit the UK market in Mid April. Retailer Clove has listed the tablet at £499.99 on its website. The tablet comes with a 1.5GHz processor and has 32 GB of on board memory, which can be expanded using MicroSD card. This 3G tablet also has WiFi capability and is equipped with dual cameras. Its rear facing camera is 5 MP whereas the front facing camera is 1.3 MP.
