Apple to Refund £100 on Recently Purchased iPad

With the introduction of iPad 2, Apple also announced dropping £100 off its older iPad. However, people who had bought their iPad only recently felt let down with the announcement. But probably Apple is really in a very magnanimous mood and so the company has now declared that it would refund £100 for your newly bought iPad. However, there is a catch. In order to avail this offer, you need to be within the 14-day return window. There is one more caveat, you also need to have your receipt.

14 days window is not a long period, but certainly something is better than nothing. Although, if you are within this window, you just might want to return your iPad and get a new iPad 2 instead, which bears the same pricing. The new iPad is expected to hit the store shelves on later this month.

Considering that Apple release an update of the iPad, iPhone and Touch every year, if anyone bought one recently and was disappointed, it should be with themselves.

Of course, what Apple aren’t telling people is that they have a no quibble 14 day money back guarantee so if you bought an iPad1 (like an idiot) in the last 14 days, you can take it back for a full refund.

  • You can only get a refund if you bought from apple (store/online) I bought an iPad feb28th from argues and can’t get a penny bak

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
