Dell Venue Pro is finally here and is up for sale directly from Dell. The phone was originally planned to be launched in November,
2011 but SIM free and unlocked Windows Phone 7 device is already available online for £459. The price tag is hefty but still is more reasonable than the latest pricing announced for Galaxy S 2.
The phone has a capacious 4.1 inch AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass display. The capacitive screen sports 800 x 480 resolution. On the inside, it is fitted with 1 GHz processor and has 512 MB RAM. Dell Venue Pro has sleek carbon fiber looks and is equipped with 5 MP rear facing camera. Dell is touting the phone as ultimate Work/play device. Aongus Hegarty, Dell vice president for Consumer, Small and Medium Business in EMEA, went on record, claiming, "We’re committed to creating smart, innovative mobile experiences to help people discover new ways to work, enjoy the web, connect with friends, and navigate their lives." Oh well, let's wait for some time to see what users say.
