Looks like, Sony is eager to clear shelf space for its NGP aka Next Generation Portable device. The company announced the price cut for its PSP in the US. However, seems like it forgot to extend the joy across the pond. While, Americans can now enjoy PSP for record low price of $129.99, You still will have to pay £129.99.
Sony announced that the new pricing will be applicable from February 27, 2011. It also said that from now on, PSP Entertainment Packs will be available at the MSRP of $159.99. It did not say anything about adjusting the prices outside of the US. The company also announced new additions to its "Greatest Hits" and "Favorites" collections. Now, the "Greatest Hits" library will include Assassin's Creed and Toy Story 3: The Video Game, among other titles. Tomb Raider and Daxter have been included in "Favorites" library.
