Apple have offered a little distraction in the form of the iPhone Nano, but let's not forget that the iPhone 5 is on its way.
Unlike its (rumoured) shrinking counterpart the word is that the latest iPhone will in fact have a larger screen in order to tackle the big boys of the Android world.
4inch is the spec that's flying around at the moment.
Meanwhile, Taiwanese blog Apple.pro is throwing more gossip into the mix, saying that it has its hands on information pointing to three different models being considered for final production as the iPhone 5. One has a physical keyboard that slides out, and another is said to be like an iPhone 4 in styling but with a longer-lasting battery and a better camera.
A physical keyboard? That would be great. It may just be what the iPhone needs, if it comes out as simply an improved iPhone 4 it's not going to make the same impact as a whole new handset.
Let’s not forget, that though Apple did not lose any smartphone shares with the iPhone 4, neither did they gain any. They’ll certainly be looking for more this time around.
