It's the digital age and broadband is no longer a luxury but a solid requirement. Nothing can ruin your life more than a slow internet connection and it seems property buyers are starting to consider this when they house-hunt.
It's not going to add as much as a conservatory, a new boiler or a loft-conversion but super-fast broadband could give a little boost to the price of your house.
An ISPreview, polling almost 750 Brits to find that half of respondents said they would pay more for a house with faster broadband and interestingly 69% indicated that they would be put off a "beautiful new house" if they knew it lacked a "fast broadband connection."
And 74% of those interviewed described broadband as "critically important" to their home life.
Could we soon being seeing internet connection listed in the windows of estate agents?
What do you think? Does would internet affect your property preference?

ISPreview’s survey proves just how important broadband speeds are to internet users and why it’s essential to know exactly what speeds you can expect when signing up. That’s why Virgin Media publish their typical speeds each month and why they’re calling for more honesty in broadband advertising with their Stop the Broadband Con campaign.
The ASA has now opened a review of broadband speeds advertising. Broadband users can have their say on how their services are advertised until 25th February, here: http://www.cap.org.uk/CAP-and-BCAP-Consultations/Open-consultations/CAP-BCAP-Up-to-speed-claims-in-broadband.aspx
