Dell launched a wide array of products at its 'Dell Means Business' event in San Francisco, well 39 new products to be precise. These products included laptops, workstations, desktop and tablets. However, the cynosure of the event was the company's upcoming 10-inch tablet with Windows 7. This machine is not the company's first attempt at using Windows 7 for tablets. The company already has a 10 inch convertible Windows 7 tab, Dell Duo, in its portfolio.
Although, Dell said that the tablet would be available by the middle of this year, it did not show the functional tablet during the event. Consequently, not much information is available about the tablet, but what we know is that it would be running on an Intel processor. The new unnamed tablet is targeted towards users "that demand control, security, manageability, and integration with existing infrastructure investments." However, Dell would release an Android version of the tablet too. Dell chose to remain mum on the pricing front too. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a reasonably priced Win 7 tablet.
