Vodafone are adding to their troop of smartphones with two pretty interesting new handsets.
First up is the LG's Optimus 3D, which comes with a glasses-free three dimensional display, and a dual-lens camera which is capable of 3D video recording which is to "come to Vodafone. As soon as it's launched."
"We will bring it to the UK," say the Network.
And if a 3D smartphone doesn't get your juices flowing, there's the more sensible option of the E7, a business-oriented smartphone (similar to the N8) complete with a good old QWERTY keyboard
It will have a Qualcomm ARM11-based processor, 256MB RAM, 4-inch OLED screen with a 640×360 pixels resolution, HDMI-out port, an 8-megapixel camera with Symbian^3, 16GB onboard storage, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 1200mAh battery, and a microSD card reader.
Both seem like great handsets and Vodafone should do well with them, but what we've really got our eyes on is the Optimus 3D, are people ready for a 3D phone yet? It sounds like a wonderful idea but how much are we going to have to pay to look like we've just came off the set of Star Trek? You can bet it's going to be expensive.
