Channel 4 HD Coming To Freesat In April

Since analogue terrestrial television was turned off last year, free to air high definition services have begun to see a lot more traction as many households finally get those newly purchased HDTV's connected to high definition content.

At the moment, if you've got freesat HD then you've already got access to BBC HD, BBC One HD and ITV HD.

The current deal that see's Channel 4's HD exclusivity on Sky HD is coming to an end and will air on Freesat HD in April.

Freesat head honcho Emma Scott says: "Channel 4 HD is a high quality channel and we're sure it will prove popular with our discerning viewers."

So there you have it Channel 4 HD is jumping on the good-ship Freesat HD and is solid move for the ever burgeoning free to air high definition service.

Channel 4 HD has already been available on Freeview HD for a couple of months and is shrewd move for the satellite-based free TV service.

As soon as the channel goes live we'll let you know - so you can retune you boxes to get the new channel.
