Google May Announce New Android Market and Google Music Soon

When we say 'soon', we mean it may actually happen today. Google will be holding its special Android event today and it is expected that among other things, it will also introduce revamped Android Market. The new Market will be on the lines of the one shown off last year during I/O conference. Oh yea, and of course, the search behemoth will also launch Android 3.0 aka Honeycomb in its full glory.

The new Market will let you search for apps from your desktop browser. It will also enable Android 2.2 or higher devices to install the apps remotely. Another rumor is related to a new Google venture. Google is all set to take on iTunes with its own music service. Despite the fact that I/O event last year had showed off a couple of Google Music apps, not many details are available about this service. The new app will let you stream your music online and will be integrated with Android. Anyways, we don't have to wait long for getting an official word about these rumors. So, keep watching this space for updates.

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
