T-Mobile US has announced its pricing for Dell Streak 7 and with the official update the company has also debunked the rumors which had claimed that T-Mobile would be pricing the 7 inch tablet at $330. The official pricing for the tablet is $199.99, which will shackle you with a two year contract with the carrier. If you want to have your tablet unrestricted, then you will have to shell out $450. The tablet will be available for purchase from T-Mobile from February 2nd.
At 7 inches, Dell Streak 7 does not seem to be suffering from the identity crisis which plagued its 5-inch cousin, the original Dell Streak. Streak 7 features an Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and Android version 2.2. Its 7 inches touchscreen display has a resolution of 800×480 pixels. Other than that, the tablet has a 5MP rear facing camera whereas its front facing camera has 1.3MP resolution. The pricing seems to be reasonable, given the fact that Samsung Galaxy Tab will set you back by $500, if bought off contract. However, the tablet has got more bells and whistles than Streak. So, which one would you opt for?
