Sources Claim iPad 2 SD Card Slot Actually Sim Card Bay ?

Yet more rumours about the iPad 2 are doing the rounds at Applensiders, as a source they trust claims that the predicted SD card slot will not make the cut.

Their source says that the slot seen on numerous cases is actually the sim card slot and not the SD card slot.

SD support is perhaps the biggest bone of contention when it comes to the iPad 2. If Apple were to include it, it would make uploading to the device easier, although it could compromise the simple lines of the sleek device.

So, two new rumours that have appeared to make the iPad 2 a lot less exciting - we not sure what to make of them - an iPad 2 which is quicker and thinner doesn't sound all that exciting anymore.

Although according to rumours running on Electricpig they suggest that an SD card slot is a likely addition with the reasoning being that Apple wants to make video editing on the iPad more appealing.

So, who do we believe, well as tech lovers we always dream for the best scenario - so we think these rumours are off the mark.

An iPad 2 with cameras, quicker processors and slimmed down - wouldn't make enough of a splash in our eyes - especially with what Samsung has planned. Let just hope Apple pushes the boundaries and doesn’t play it safe.
