If you're a PS3 owner then there is some good news as Sony have announced that one of the features which will be included in the latest PS3 3.60 Firmware Update, will be something called, 'Online Saving'.
First talked about in 2009, this new feature will allows gamers to save games in the 'cloud' and has now been confirmed by Sony as one of the features within the up and coming update.
The 'Online Saving' feature will only be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers. Not only will this allow PS3 users to "save data with the copy prohibited attribute to be copied into the online storage", but this will free up disk space on the PS3 console and any saved games can be stored in the 'cloud' and then be retrieved onto any PS3 and downloaded.
However, if some developers have any concerns with the new feature and its copyright capabilities for their games then it is not compulsory to include their games on this service.
