Barbie gets a high tech woo-ing by Ken!

In happier days...

A new twist in the story of one of the world's hottest couples. Barbie and Ken of course, not Jordan and whoever is unlucky enough to be ensnared by her at the moment. Following their split on Valentine's Day 2004, birthday boy Ken (he's now 50 years old and looking remarkably good - it must be plastic surgery!) has decided to woo back his estranged lover. And he's going high tech to do it.

Yes, the old boy has got online and started a huge Facebook and Twitter campaign, sending flirty messages to Barbie to try rekindle the passion of their 43 years long former relationship. He's even gone as far as to take out billboard ads in New York and Los Angeles, buy a spot in magazine Us Weekly, go on entertainment show ETalk, and lend his name to an online reality dating show Genuine Ken: The Search For The Great American Boyfriend.

But will the social networking campaign and all work? You can give Ken a little extra help to change Barbie's mind by casting your vote on whether she should take him back at www.barbieandken.com. I'm guessing it'll be a Valentine's Day revelation, so get in there quick! You can also follow the links on there to join the Facebook and Twitter groups and follow the action as it unfolds.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
