Xoom has already got it, but now you can too. Google has officially launched the preview code for Honeycomb. So, if you were looking to lay your hands on Honeycomb, then you can now download preview code as well as SDK tools from Google. Once you have downloaded the required code, you are all set to fiddle with the new generation OS to your heart's content. Google has also said that since the SDK is not final, expect many more tweaks and fixes to come.
Honeycomb has been specifically designed keeping in mind devices with bigger displays and tablets. Google, in its blog post, has stated that the latest version introduces a new 'holographic' UI theme. It also features an interaction model. Apparently, there are many other new features, which have not been elaborated upon. The main idea behind the preview release is to provide developers with an opportunity to test their apps for bigger display devices. It will also help them in getting familiar with new UI design. So, if you are willing then go ahead and download the necessary tools, but be warned that the current iteration is slow and buggy.
