Samsung Galaxy Add 4 New Android Touting Phones to Range: The Ace, Gio, Fit and Mini

As the Samsung Galaxy has impressively given the iPhone 4 a run for its money by selling 10 million devices, it would appear that it is now confidently using the infamous Galaxy S brand name to offer some lower spec but affordable Galaxy mobile devices.

So if you're not looking for the best but affordable device then these four Galaxy devices maybe just up your street.

The Galaxy Ace is a 3.5 inch that looks very similar to the Galaxy S, however compared to its cooler big brother it has only 800MHz processor and HVGA screen resolution. The Fit has a lower processor at 600 MHz speed and a 3.3 inch QVGA screen. Compare this to the next one in the Galaxy bunch, the Gio, it touts a smaller screen at 3.2 makes up for it with a HVGA screen rather than the Fit's QVGA screen. And lastly the Mini"¦which I am pretty sure you can guess has a tiny 3.1 inch QVGA screen but runs on the same processing capabilities as the Fit and Gio.

All will run on the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system and will be released immediately in Russia, followed by Europe, India and China. As for the US, it would appear the foursome will not venture onto that side of the Atlantic anytime soon.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
