One of the top gadgets which we are looking forward to in 2011 has to be the BlackBerry PlayBook. Marketed as a serious contender for the Apple iPad, it has recently come under a lot of speculation for it's battery life or should we say it's poor battery life due to its rumoured small cell size.
However, BlackBerry has hit back at the rumours and have now promised that the PlayBook will offer "equal or greater" battery life when compared to the Apple iPad.
So does the BlackBerry PlayBook have the capabilities to match the 10 hour battery life which the iPad currently holds? Well, with a March release just a couple of months away if they do manage to shut the poor battery life rumours, then we could certainly see a serious contender coming in the way of the Apple product.
