Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Specs Leaked ?

With the tech world looking into its magic ball trying to predict when the iPad 2 will land, Samsung have been plodding along not making much noise - well might well change this week with what are looking like the new specs for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, which might be revealed a Mobile World Congress.

The details are by no means official, they’re are more a wish list – salt at the ready ? Right, it’s going to come on Android 2.3 with a view to going to Android 3.0 honeycomb. This will apparently give it 3D capabilities, as well as that, there’s talk of a AMLOED screen running at 2048 x 1200 – and the cherry on the top is the Nvidia Tegra dual core processor at 1Ghz.

On the back of the new tab is a 8-megapixel camera that will be able to record full 1080p HD video , along with a dual LED flash and a front, three megapixel camera for web chats.

Standard features include 3G support, 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth version 3.0. A USB port on the side is also rumored, alongside a microSD card slot to compliment the 64GB of internal storage.

Other notable highlights of the Galaxy Tab 2 include 1GB of RAM, an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass and barometer.

All of the aforementioned specs come by way of oled-info.com, who reportedly tracked down this information alongside a leaked video. Do you think that any of these specs will see the light of day? Certainly it's enough to give any iPad 2 a bloody nose.

Let the battle commence.

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
