3D GPS Maps with Thinkware iNAVI K2

Leaving Nothing to the Imagination: 3D GPS Maps with Thinkware iNAVI K2

3D Graphic Technology has been around for ages in the Gaming world so with the latest GPS craze, it’s no wonder that the tech guys in Korea have cashed in on the idea by creating super detailed 3D maps for your SatNav. Forget looking outside the window to see if you’re close to your destination, the Thinkware iNAVI K2 will let you picture all that by simply looking at your SatNav.

These 3D graphics will show up on its 4.8 inch 800 x 480 screen. There’s 8GB of memory, 256MB of RAM and a nifty “geomagnetic 3-axis sensor”.

Just like when Google Earth first came out, the first thing I searched for was my house and I know sad as it may sound I’ll be doing the same with these maps!

The cost of this super 3D SatNav mapper will be about 549,000 KRW which is about £280 but like always it’s only due to be available to the Kings of Gadgetry in Korea and there is no news when it will reach our beautiful British Isles.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
