It looks like the white iPhone 4 isn't dead just yet - over the last couple of days more and more stories have been cropping up on the Internet suggesting that the beleaguered white iPhone might be get a release next month.
The White iPhone has been something of a farce for Apple, launched to a handful of lucky punters at special iPhone 4 lanuch parties, it has been more elusive than the loch ness monster.
The Apple rumour site MacRumours have received a screenshot of what their source claims is a best buy inventory page showing the white iPhone will be in stock Feb 27th.
This also ties in quite nicely with a story on tech blog Engadget ran, who came across a stock list for Vodafone in Germany.
Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean Vodafone has any idea when these phones are showing up on their doorstep — maybe they’re just preparing (and hoping) that it materialises before too long — but for what it’s worth, the source says to expect a launch “soon.”
MacRumours is quick to point out that Feb 27th just so happens to be a Sunday, strange timing for a product launch, and that it’s possible that the company will just delay releasing the white model of the iPhone until it begins selling the iPhone 5.
Apple's reasons for the no show comedy nonetheless - they have said that they are struggling to get the white colour to match the front and back - what ever that means.

After such a long wait for the iPhone 4 White i hope we see it this half of the year! Just picked up an iPad 2 this week, which looks lovely in white.
