After we reported that the new iPad 2 could well come with a SD Card Slot - we have been given more evidence of this as well as the inclusion of a potential mini DisplayPort.
Pictures that have surfaced on Apple insider and MIC Gadget who have both independently found iPad shells that seem to have identical cutouts.
These cases are by no means proof, but they both have space for a rear-facing camera, a potential slot for a SD Card and interestingly a very small port on the top of the case - from the size it could only be a mini DisplayPort - Apple’s alternative to a HDMI.
According to sources across the pond the first two are almost certainly true, but what of this small cutout at the top - looking at the size it definitely couldn't be USB, but does look suspiciously similar in size to Apple'e Mini DisplayPort.
We’re willing to believe that a Mini DisplayPort will be an inclusion Apple makes for the sake of offering choice — even if it prefers you to send your video streams over an untethered AirPlay connection.
