Verizon iPhone 4 Does Not Have ‘Death Grip’ Issues

When the iPhone 4 was released last summer, one of the major issues experienced from the phone was the dreaded iPhone 4 'death grip' issue. The death grip happened when users held their iPhone 4 handsets in their left hand and it covered the black bars which caused dropping of calls and signal problems.

As we know Verizon released the iPhone 4 on their network yesterday and it would appear that their iPhone 4 version does not have the death grip issue. This is because supposedly the new Verizon iPhone 4 has 4 black bars instead of previous 3 found on the iPhone 4.

Slash Gear reported that after running some tests they found that the new Verizon iPhone were virtually non-existent. However although these test have been done by a handful of people, I think we'll have to see what the Verizon iPhone 4 customers have to say about their experience.

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
