Samsung Vibrant 4G Specs Leaked but No Android 2.3?

Details of the T-Mobile US exclusive phone, the Samsung Vibrant 4G has been leaked by TmoNews.

The rumoured phone is an upgrade to the current Vibrant handset and it has been noted that the phone will include 21Mps-capsule HSPA+ connectivity so that you can speed your mobile broadband to 4G speeds and a front facing camera.

However rather disappointingly the phone only includes the Android 2.2, although we were expecting it to come packed with the new Android OS, Android 2.3. Well, as this is just a leak and there is no official confirmation maybe Samsung might have something else up its sleeve?

What do you think of the new Samsung Vibrant 4G? Should it include Android 2.3 or would you be happy with the 2.3? Leave us your comments below"¦

Samsung can keep its 4g Vibrant and any other device they offer, it probably will never see Gingerbread, and if does it will probably be when the rest of the phones have Ice Cream.

So no, regardless of what Samsung has to offer, and T Mobile for that matter. They can keep their Vibrant. I would prefer an Atrix combination of PC and Phone. As it would suit my needs.

The lack of a dual core processor, renders this new Vibrant as OLD technology.
The lack of a Flash is just unforgivable.
The fact its a Samsung device, renders it as a useless device that will lack upgrades.

T Mobile, you should understand, most current Samsung owners will not trust Samsung again. If you keep on making deals with Samsung and providing useless phones, you only will lose customers. Because of your service most of us have stayed. Though we are NOT interested in Samsung products, to make it interesting, you would have to offer it very cheap, FREE! and without the need for a contract, then maybe we could consider trying it.

Samsung hasn’t gotten the message, very few would consider a Samsung device again. I hope Samsung takes note, cause they have really made a mess of their reputation.

The fact that the Vibrant 4G carries a Samsung logo just sais a lot…. its a USELESS device and we don’t want it.

To Samsung, if you want customers to consider your phones, you need to give them away for free, provide all updates in a timely manner for at least a year. If you fail to do this, even if you include gold in your offering, very few US customers will ever consider buying a Samsung phone again.

I have a Samsung phone that can tell you exactly what time of day it is. It’s pretty cool. Kinda like a clock and a phone, all in one! Terknology is amazing!!!!1!!

  • Hi TheSamSungGoood,

What you had was known as a CellClock. It’s new technology. They pretty much put a little clock inside your phone. Pretty much any new phone from this year will have the CellClock installed in it. The only bad thing about CellClock technology is that when you need to change the battery inside the clock, you must disassemble the whole phone to get to the little battery inside. It’s kind of a pain in the ass, but that’s the price you pay for having a dual phone/clock.

Hope I helped you to understand something!

    Chow-meng.

  • You guys are all a bunch of idiots. CellClock technology has been around for 2 years already and it’s really not that simple to change the CellClock battery. You might even have to send the phone back to Samsung to get them to install a new battery.

    God…..

Half you guys so obviously work for Samsung, or are extremely strange. I punted my toco lite through some rugby posts. If I was richer/not a teen I’d be on the Optimus 2x. That is one sexy phone ;)

  • Karim, you’re out of your head. These guys all seem pretty smart to me. Some very intellectual conversations going on in these comments.

  • Ben Omara-Ojara

Roll dems dice. Samsung is da bombest of the bomb!
