We all had been looking forward to Spring launch of iPad 2, but looks like Apple is more eager than us. If we have to believe KevinRose and his "good authority", then we may get to see iPad 2 on February 1. The rumor seems plausible, given the fact that this year, CES in Las Vegas seemed to be all about Tablets. The recently concluded trade show featured over 23 tablets, most of them running on Android OS. So, February 1 is just about the time when Apple Empire strikes back and send the other companies back to their drawing boards.
The launch date also dovetails nicely with other rumored reports about Foxconn readying itself for iPad 2 initial shipments. Apparently, back in December, the company was bracing itself for shipping 400,000 to 600,000 units 'within the next 100 days". Digg founder has also rehashed the oft- rumored features such as retina display and dual-camera. With convertible tablets rocking CES, these features are the least we are going to expect from Apple. Let's keep our fingers crossed then.

Does 2 cameras is really expected? iPad is not as portable as an iPhone or iPod, so dowe really expect a camera for regular photos? I would say a single camera in the front(screen side) for facetime is the only one I would expect. Retina display would be nice but at least 1280×720(or 768) for the screen. Plus more conectivity, USB3 maybe???
Nice I would be the first one to grab the ipad 2.
