It's been a busy period for Skype. They're service went down for millions of people over Christmas, they annoyed China (like every other tech company does) and on a more positive note, they added video calling to iPhone and Android smartphones.
Continuing their push for greatness the VoIP has released details of new features it is adding to its service which include a new premium package that incorporates a group video calling feature.
The new group video feature which I would like to be called multi-Skype allows you to Skype more than one person.
The new Skype Premium package will offer both group video calling and access to live chat customer support.
It will be available as a day pass for £2.99 or as a monthly subscription for £4.99 (come on squeeze that extra £2 out.)
Skype users who sign up for group video calling in the first month of its availability will receive a 33 percent discount on 3 and 12-month subscriptions.
Plus new users receive a 7-day free trial and anyone who signs up for group video calling will receive a 25 percent discount off an HD webcam.
So they you go Skype-heads the future is looking good for you and you international relatives.
