A couple of days back, we had reported about Nintendo 3DS pre-order start by GameStop. Now, E-retailer GamesGears have joined the fray and has listed the eagerly-awaited handheld console at £194.99, thus saving you cool £5 off the retail price of £199.99, although, the console is only available in black color. Nintendo is holding a special event in Amsterdam on January 19th which would provide the preview of this 3D console.

Nintendo 3DS will first be launched in Japan on 26th of February, however, the dates for the overseas launch have not been announced yet. The GameGear site shows the release date as March 18th, though. The console will cost 25,000 Yen in Japan. The company will also be displaying a number of 3DS game titles during the Nintendo World Event to be held in Tokyo in January. The bigger names among the titles to be released are Metal gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 3D, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle and Resident Evil Revelations. And also expected to see Paper Mario and Street Fighter IV 3D.

  • We are still getting different prices and release dates, this price and date will would be good! I have seen over £200 more often than not and the 25th Mar!! best buy are taking deposits at under £3 with no price on the site but they also are suggesting the 18th Mar.
